  2. I am still early days into this very well presented and informative video, but surely the miners are the middle men. Without the miners, Bitcoin for all its cryptography, algos, mathematical problems and public ledger transparency would still crumble. Bitcoin needs the miners human touch to be created, stay valid and circulate. I would say as creating Bitcoin is becoming harder to do, the role of the miners is still very important for bitcoins circulation. The more people use bitcoin, newly created or not, each verified transaction and block is still well paid, and miners are reliant on more people using Bitcoin for their bread and butter too. Bitcoin might come into trouble if one large financial institute dominates the transactions like a central bank and hoards them.
