Some people have asked if this channel accepts contributions in cryptocurrency form. As a matter of fact, it does:

Here are a few other resources I’d recommend:

Original Bitcoin paper: https://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf

Block explorer: https://blockexplorer.com/

Blog post by Michael Nielsen: https://goo.gl/BW1RV3
(This is particularly good for understanding the details of what transactions look like, which is something this video did not cover)

Video by Anders Brownworth: https://youtu.be/_160oMzblY8

Ethereum white paper: https://goo.gl/XXZddT

Animations largely made using manim, a scrappy open source python library. https://github.com/3b1b/manim

If you want to check it out, I feel compelled to warn you that it’s not the most well-documented tool, and has many other quirks you might expect in a library someone wrote with only their own use in mind.

If you want to contribute translated subtitles or to help review those that have already been made by others and need approval, you can click the gear icon in the video and go to subtitles/cc, then “add subtitles/cc”. I really appreciate those who do this, as it helps make the lessons accessible to more people.

  1. If you see comments here about investing or brokers, they are scams. Videos about cryptocurrencies, evidently including ones that are just about the underlying technology/math, are hotbeds for attracting nefarious actors preying on the impressionable.

Also, hi! If you’re new to this channel, most of it is about visualizing math. I get it, you probably landed here searching for how BTC works, not to spend your afternoon getting pulled into learning about, say, prime numbers or problem-solving, but if you have a moment take a look at the rest of the channel, you may enjoy what you find.

  2. <<There's no doubt in my mind that we are not only going bull, but BTCis going nuclear. A lot of people are wondering if now is a good time to buy because of where the price is at right now. I'd say it's outrightly wrong to just sit back hodl and wait maybe incur some losses along the line, that's a wrong mindset for an investor because as an investor finding ways to always increase and stack up more coins thereby making prof!ts should be the way of lifeThat being said, the market is still all about BTC at the moment and I’ll advise current investors and newbies to take advantage of Ricky Kyle program, a pro trader who runs a training program for investors/newbies who lack understanding on how trading Bitcoin works, to help them recover loss from the crash and also accumulate more bitcoin, with his program i went from having 3.4btc to 7.8btc in just 5 weeks. You can reach him on TE LE GRAM (@Rickykyle)and What's– application (+1637430470 ,let’s make the best of whatever we can

  3. it is based on crytopgraphy, not the gold standard, which was then based on bronze and protective clothing, and mimicking the sun because it shines, long story short, the blockchain cannot be turned into it's own material, whether that be paper, or plastic, or gold, or diamonds, they can be exchanged for those things, so it does belong on a finacial exchange, but protected by the fdic, consider legal tender, backed by some government, it is not. like all precious metals, and jewels, it is a digital commodity, a proof of digital work, a digital confirmation of mathematical computation that cannot be hacked, but can be destroyed, stolen and exchanged for something of equal value.

  4. you still the reward, it is created out of thin air, but once that LD reward is created you steal it, that is what you do. and most of these places are connected to the internet because they have to listen to transactions, but they are also self contained in that they are large data mining facilities, so you could physically go there and take thier cold storage. haha digital piracy forever!!!

  5. an actually question, something with an encryption, or a large group of data, that is encrypted cannot be defraged correct, because it is reorganizing that data, to perform, but if the data is first encryted, its locked in a cage, or tied with a belt, and the it cant be rearraged until that cage or belt is unlocked. then that encryption is just a program correct, a program to encrypt, but all programs can be hacked, so that is my only problem, that is my problem a dollar bill with a serila number cannot be hacked, it can be counterfeit, but that has a unique crime with a unique skill set, and with the advent of fiat money, as long as a government is in good standing, with its bank standing on god given economic pricipals, there is no reason it should, ever be "worthless" less than the paper it is printed on, is still worth something, so i think that is a point to be made. and again all programs can be hacked, and the fundamental idea that a currency must be disconnected from the internet to make it usable on the internet seems complicated, then there is ok who is bob alice and eve, clearly i am bob, alice maybe korean never kissed, and eve maybe everyone else, or everyone that is evil. and remember you have no reason to obey the rules you have crypto currency why obey the rules now that you have an untraceable currency not linked to any government?

  6. What a bunch of bullshit. As usual, a bunch of rubes who think they are smart will get ripped off by those who already have way more money than anybody needs. Plus you are burning up scads of electrical energy in this useless pursuit. They are actually re-starting coal-fired power plants to run all these servers. Hint: "There is no free lunch".

  7. Crypto market is becoming more appealing to investors seeking low-

correlation assets that diversify portfolios, I'd say it's

outrightly wrong to just sit back hodl and wait maybe incur some

losses along the line, that's a wrong mindset for an investor

because as an investor finding ways to always increase and stack up

more tokens thereby making profits should be the way of life, even

experienced traders are in a doubt to take long or short position,

The conditions of this Canada market are unlike anything we have

ever seen. I got this tips first hand from Crypto Casey Tutor, She’s

always a step ahead of other traders, she fully monitored all my

trades to avoid me making mistakes and losing my money. My earnings

has increased dras tically from 1.1 Bitcoin to 3.7 Bitcoin in just 2

months and some days. I've full confidence in her tradn abilities.

You can easily get to her on [Cryptocaseytutor]

  8. <.< Bitcoin has seen some incredible strength throughout the past couple of days, with the confluence of a strong market structure and an undercurrent of positive developments both helping to drive it higher. Stick with ETH and BTC as much as you can guys, just remember where it's going and don't be put off by short term fluctuations and don't facilitate this dream into becoming a nightmare. This strength has led it to $46k – which is proving to be a crucial resistance level for the cryptocurrency. Bulls have been attempting to surmount this level for weeks now, but each break above this level has been met with significant selling pressure that slows its ascent, with the price of crypto assets picking up the pace accumulating and stacking up more coins in your portfolio should be your first priority as an investor, DCA is good but quite expensive which is why I prefer trading my assets and accumulating my profits. I'm not an expert trader what I do is I copy the trade signals of Tony Gregory and implement them in my own trades, Tony is an expert trader and his trade signals has a high accuracy ratio because I have increased my portfolio from 2 btc to 7 btc in just three months. Investors should carry out their due diligence and find suitable trade guides to aid them in their trade but meanwhile, Tony can be reached on Telegram/Mail [ @gregory496 / gregorytony496 @ gmail com ] for more information or for financial advice regarding crypto investment>
