  2. If my kids ever asked me what life was like in 2021, here's what I'll tell them: "It was very hard, there was a lot of chaos and a lot of people didn't like each other very much. But when we called out with sea shanties as the year began, eventually a hero appeared, and reminded us all that at the end of the day, we're just people.

    He reminded us of a simpler time when the most major news wasn't a Presidential tweet or how many new people were sick, but the birth of Cinnamon. He reminded us of a time when we could look to the TV every day and know that even when we felt alone, we always had a friend. He gave the world a warm hug, and instilled in us all a sense of hope that many of us haven't felt in nearly twenty years.

    He taught us that sometimes we just need to sit down in our thinking chair and think- to think about others and ourselves, about how far we've all come, and about our journeys and where they have led us. He made many of us realize that at then end of the day, we all face challenges that are difficult, and we all need help at some point to get through them. He was a beacon of compassion and friendship in a chaotic world that had seemingly lost sight of both, telling us all that we meant as much to him as he did to us."

    My kid: "Wow, he said all that?"

    Me: "He didn't have to. His message was always in us, he just reminded us it was there."

    Steve's the best, man.

  3. This greatly saddens me );
    As a Mid Gen Z (05) kid I saw a lot of 90s and 2000s shows when growing up. Including but not limited to. Blues Clues, Sesame Street, Thomas & Friends (Seasons 13 and before)
    Little Einstein’s, Fireman Sam, Spongebob, Super Why, Rolly Polly Olie, Fetch!, Teletubbies. As my childhood starts to close I’ve recently been getting super nostalgic of things from my early childhood such as this one Memory of me Watching Chicken little on a MickeyMouse CRT or Dropping my dads PS2.
    Even some of my Earliest games such as Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart Wii, Pocket Tanks, and more make me want to remember the early parts of my childhood more and more.
    With Steve returning after all these years and openly giving a message to the Early and Mid Gen Z children (Whom he refers to as Millennials due to possible unknowning.) Make me want to cry and has sent me on a Nostalgia trip of my early childhood even though it’s the middle of the when I’m writing this.

    Basically it’s nice to see you back Kessler. Thanks for giving some form of closure.
